The Robotics Vision Summer School is a week-long intensive course designed to cultivate and inspire the next generation of vision-based roboticists. The school gives attendees the chance to learn about foundational and advanced topics in computer vision and robotics from world-leaders in the field. It also provides a unique opportunity to experiment with computer vision algorithms on actual robotic hardware.
Developed with both graduate students and industry researchers in mind, RVSS is a fantastic immersion in robotic vision theory and practice. The only course of its kind in the world, it combines lectures, interactive tutorials, research seminars and small group discussions with leading national and international researchers.
Every year, RVSS features a number of exceptional speakers who are trailblazers in the field of robotics, as well as expert facilitators who inspire and guide attendees. The school brings together and creates a network of researchers and engineers, within industry and academia, that will lead Australia and the world in solving the key robotic vision problems of the future.
At the end of the course, attendees receive a Certificate of Attendance documenting their participation.
